Since joining Pollart Miller, Charles has focused his practice on insurance defense litigation, including representing companies and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation and liability matters.

During law school, Charles clerked for the Army’s Office of Installations, Energy, and Environment supporting the development of clean energy projects on military installations. As a law student, Charles also served on staff for the Pennsylvania Bar Associations Energy and Environmental Law newsletter where he prepared articles addressing clean energy policy in Pennsylvania. Charles also participated in Widener’s tax law clinic preparing income tax filings for low-income individuals locally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

After graduating law school in 2013, Charles worked in Washington DC for an energy non-profit where he regularly worked with congressional staffers and other industry stakeholders to develop state and federal energy policies. Since relocating to Denver, Charles has worked as a litigation manager where he supported clients regarding e-discovery needs using platforms like Relativity and Everlaw.

Charles is originally from Warrenton, Virginia. He moved to Denver in 2018 with his wife Linda and their two shih tzus, Tribbi and Benson.

In his free time, Charles enjoys walking his dogs and watching sports. He supports both the Washington Commanders, the Colorado Rapids, and Manchester United.
