
Sedona L. Valdez joined Pollart Miller in 2026 as an Associate Attorney.
Sedona focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, including representing companies and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation and liability matters, and defending individuals and business charged with committing crimes.
Prior to joining Pollart Miller, Sedona earned her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law where she earned certificates in Litigation and Sports Law. During law school, Sedona acquired diverse legal experience in both transactional and litigation practice areas. She worked as a judicial extern at the Douglas County District Court, gaining insights into judicial decision-making for civil and criminal matters, which assisted in her representation of juveniles through Creighton’s Juvenile Justice Legal Clinic. Prior to that, she was a commercial legal intern for a Fortune 500 company, where she handled employment, administrative and contract law issues. Additionally, she externed with Creighton’s Office of General Counsel and was the Co-VP of Logistics for Creighton’s intraschool moot court competition.
Sedona was born in Indiana, then moved to Arizona for school, where she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona with B.A.s in History and Law. During and following graduation, she participated in the Disney College Program in Orlando, FL.
Leaving behind the hills of Nebraska and her home state of Indiana for the Rocky Mountains, Sedona has reclaimed her passion for hiking and exploring the outdoors. When she is not baking the next viral dessert while watching the newest movie or show, she is either supporting her alma mater’s sports teams or cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
