Ivanka focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, including representing companies and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation and liability matters, and defending individuals and businesses charged with committing crimes.

Ivanka graduated Cum Laude from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2024. During law school, she worked as a judicial intern at the Harris County Probate Court, gaining insights into the judicial decision-making process. Ivanka also participated in the Thurgood Marshall Wills, Probate, and Guardianship Clinic, where she represented clients in real cases and gained hands-on litigation experience. Prior to that, she worked as a Law Clerk at Houston’s second-largest business immigration law firm. Additionally, she earned her Certified Mediator Certificate and was President of the Chess Club.

Shewas born in Salt Lake City, Utah and raised in Monument, Colorado. Growing up, she spent her summers in South Africa where her family is originally from. Her journeys around the world have given Ivanka a rich understanding and appreciation of different cultures. She is also fluent in Afrikaans.

Ivanka moved to Houston, Texas to attend college, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston. After law school, she returned to Colorado to begin her legal career.

With a love for the outdoors, Ivanka often spends her free time hiking with her husband and their three dogs. In addition to her adventures in nature, she finds joy in practicing yoga, kayaking, weightlifting, and cooking.
