Jonny Campbell joined Pollart Miller in 2024.
Mr. Campbell counsels Colorado companies and decisionmakers on a variety of employment law matters, including human resources and personnel issues, legal compliance, and employment contracts. Mr. Campbell has a particular interest in detailed review of company policies and official documents including employee handbooks, non-compete, and trade secret agreements and severance agreements.
Outside of employment matters, Mr. Campbell also practices in insurance defense litigation, including representing companies and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation and liability matters.
Before joining our firm, Mr. Campbell practiced personal injury law at a high-volume firm where he successfully represented hundreds of injured plaintiffs in third-party liability cases. He has also gained valuable legal experience negotiating complex procurement contracts in university scientific research, as well as helping indigent respondents navigate Colorado’s civil commitment mental health system.
Mr. Campbell graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2020. During law school, he earned a certificate in Sturm’s mediation practicum, working to resolve a broad array of civil disputes in the Denver Small Claims Court and the local chapter of the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Campbell was also a member of Sturm’s baseball arbitration team in 2019, traveling to Tulane University Law School to argue moot baseball salary cases in the International Baseball Arbitration Competition.
Mr. Campbell is originally from Exeter, New Hampshire. He earned his B.A. at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012, where he triple-majored in Japanese Language and Civilization, Asian Studies, and Economics. Mr. Campbell is also a graduate of the Business of Sports certificate program at the Leeds School of Business in Boulder. Prior to law school, Mr. Campbell was employed in the baseball industry, working in the front offices of the Boston Red Sox and Colorado Rockies.
Mr. Campbell is a lifelong musician and has served on the board of directors for the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra since 2023. In his free time, he enjoys reading Batman comics, cooking jambalaya and spoiling his cat Youkilis.
