Joshua Dillard joined Pollart Miller as an Associate Attorney in 2025.

Since joining Pollart Miller, Joshua has focused his practice on insurance defense litigation, including representing companies and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation and liability matters.

Joshua graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in May 2024. During law school, Joshua served as President of the International Law Society and Vice-President of the UGA Law chapter of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice. Joshua also participated in the UGA Law Mock Trial team, winning several regional and nationwide competitions. In his first year of law school, Joshua worked as a law clerk for the Athens-Clarke County District Attorney’s Office, gaining significant insight into the criminal legal system. In his second year of law school, Joshua worked as a law clerk in Washington D.C. for the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of the Inspector General, where he gained experience in internal investigations, international law, and foreign aid regulations. In his third year of law school, Joshua worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia in the Violent Crimes unit, where he assisted in prosecuting a multitude of cases such as interstate gun trafficking and murders.

After graduating law school, Joshua relocated to Colorado to serve as a prosecutor for the District Attorney’s Office of the Twentieth Judicial District which serves the people of Boulder County. In this position Joshua prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor criminal matters such as DUIs, domestic violence and sexual assaults.

Joshua is a proud southern boy, born in Alabama and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Joshua graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice in 2021. Joshua is also a proud servicemember. Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served a Human Resource Specialist. Upon graduation from his undergraduate program, Joshua decided to continue his service with the military and commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, a position he continues to serve in today.

In his free time, Joshua loves to travel, read, explore cool hiking trails with his dog Aurora, and lift heavy things at the gym.
