Maura focuses their practice on insurance defense litigation, including representing companies and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation and liability matters.

During law school, Maura was a Law Clerk at a California-based firm representing school districts in employment and special education matters. Maura also represented low-income parents of students with special needs as a Student Attorney at the University of San Diego’s Education and Disability Clinic and survivors of domestic abuse in family law matters at the USD Women’s Clinic.

Maura was a Research Assistant for their Criminal Law and Contracts Law professors, researching California Criminal Procedure and election law, respectively.

In their free time, Maura enjoys walking their dog, watching movies, and golfing.
