Paul graduated from the Virginia Polytechnic and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia with a B.S. in Finance. Following his graduation, Paul attended the University of Minnesota Law School and received his Juris Doctor degree in 2020. While in law school, Paul served as vice-president of the Minnesota Justice Foundation, participated in the university’s IP Moot Court Competition Team, and clerked for a local Minnesota law firm.

Following law school, Paul clerked for the Honorable Nathaniel D. Welte of Minnesota’s 7th Judicial District. Paul then moved to Denver and clerked for the Honorable Caryn A. Datz, the Honorable Rayna Gokli, and the Honorable Patrick H. Pugh of Colorado’s 17th Judicial District. Due to his lengthy clerkship with multiple judges in two different states, Paul was exposed to various players in the judicial system and gained valuable insight into the litigation process from behind the bench.

Following his clerkship, Paul worked as a law clerk and then an associate attorney with Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C. (“JBP”) as part of the elder law and probate team. His time at JBP gave him the experience he needs to be an effective advocate and handle complex legal cases to provide the best possible outcomes for clients.

Outside of practice, Paul is an avid snowboarder, hiker, home cook, and traveler.
