
Construction Litigation Attorney Robbie Morrision
Robert (Robbie) Morrison joined Pollart Miller in May 2024 as an Associate Attorney.
Robbie Morrison provides representation of insurance companies, material suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors in a variety of construction litigation matters for both commercial and residential projects. Mr. Morrison has extensive knowledge of the building process, materials and people needed to complete a project which provides the knowledge necessary to defend against any construction litigation claim.
Since opening his practice to include construction litigation, Mr. Morrison has had the opportunity to represent clients with issues involving the Colorado Construction Defect Action Reform Act, subrogation, negligence, negligence per se, breach of contract, and Colorado consumer protection act claims involving commercial properties.
Outside of construction litigation, Mr. Morrison also practices insurance defense litigation and workers’ compensation, defending insurance carriers and companies from liability arising from workplace injuries.
Prior to joining Pollart Miller, Mr. Morrison clerked for three years for a firm which specialized in construction litigation defense. He had the opportunity to work on cases involving construction product defects, breach of express warranties, breach of implied warranties, breach of contract, negligence, negligent misrepresentation, enforcement of mechanics liens, and consumer protection claims.
Mr. Morrison graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California in 2023. During law school, he was selected to take part in the ABA negotiation team which traveled across the country competing in competitions with other law schools.
Mr. Morrison is originally from Boulder, Colorado, but earned his B.A. in English at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Robbie was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, earning recognition and admission into the international English honors society.
Throughout his time in college, Mr. Morrison worked as a forklift operator at a building materials supplier in Erie, Denver, and Durango. He supplied both residential and commercial projects, receiving a hands-on education on the building process, materials and people involved on these projects.
Outside of work, Mr. Morrison enjoys playing ice hockey, golf, and spending time with his family.Â
