Joining Pollart Miller in 2023, Shenel S. Kirby Esq. is a highly skilled and enthusiastic litigation attorney, with a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional legal representation. With a diverse background and experience, she has emerged as a trusted advocate for individuals and businesses alike.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Shenel was instilled with a strong sense of community and a dedication to justice. She set her sights on a legal career from an early age. She attended Saint Augustine's College, where she graduated with honors and received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. During her undergraduate studies she discovered her passion for litigation and advocacy, which ultimately became the cornerstone of her legal career. She obtained her J.D. from Campbell University with a concentration in Advocacy, honing her persuasive communication skills, negotiation skills and sharpening her legal acumen.

While in law school, Shenel interned at Johnston County District Attorney's Office in the Domestic Violence Division. She also practiced as student attorney for the Campbell University Restorative Justice Clinic, where she mediated matters between at-risk students and the Wake County Public School System, as well as matters between North Carolina Death Row inmates and the victims of her crimes. In combination, these valuable experiences provided her with important insight into the difference a good attorney can make in the lives of their clients. This insight instilled in her a core commitment to always advocate for her clients aggressively and to consistently pursue ways to hone her legal skill set.

With over a decade of mediation experience, Shenel has honed her skills as a skilled negotiator, which has proven invaluable in her practice areas. Prior to joining the Firm, her practice areas included insurance defense, construction defect, criminal law, e-discovery, and now her latest addition, workers' compensation.

Shenel believes in fostering strong and transparent attorney-client relationships. She listens attentively to her clients' concerns, tailoring her legal strategies to each unique case, and ensuring clients are kept informed every step of the way. She is known for her unwavering dedication to clients and the pursuit of fair resolutions.

When she is not helping our clients, you will likely find Shenel spending time with her family or mentoring aspiring and current law students. As a dedicated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Shenel is not only committed to the pursuit of justice but also to making a positive impact in her communities. She currently lives outside of Denver with her fiancée and enjoys being outside, cooking, traveling, and exploring her new neighborhood.
